Dr. Sarah Reehani - Maid of Honor
Sarah is my cousin, best friend, and the sister I never had. She was the very first person to welcome me when I moved to the U.S., and she’s been one of my biggest supporters and cheerleaders ever since. We’ve shared so many unforgettable karaoke nights, and with endless patience, she even taught me how to dance when I had no rhythm, moments that showed me the true meaning of love and friendship. She’s also a true fashion icon, and one of the few people whose judgment and advice I trust with my whole heart. Sarah is one of the most selfless people I know, always giving, always present. If you have Sarah in your life, you know you have a good life. I’m beyond lucky to have you in mine, Sarah.
Dr. Tara Nimri - Maid of Honor
Tara is one of my closest friends and a true partner in adventure. I could probably write a whole book about our backpacking trip through Europe. On that trip, we went hang gliding and even learned to drive stick shift together using YouTube videos in an ancient little car pictured above on a Greek island. I would change gears while she held the brake, lol! Beyond all the wild adventures, one thing that has always stood out about Tara is her incredible care for others. She will always make sure everyone around her is doing good before she even sits down to eat dinner. That selflessness and attention to others is part of what makes her such a rare friend. She has challenged and inspired me in all the best ways, and I feel so grateful to have her by my side on this special journey!!!
Dr. Kara Rihani - Bridesmaid
Kara isn’t just my sister-in-law, she’s someone I’ve admired like an older sister and role model. Her passion for positive change is truly inspiring, and I feel incredibly lucky to have her in my life, not just today but every day. Kara is an amazing innovator who works tirelessly in her field, but what I admire most is her strength and the way she supports and guides those around her. She has a unique gift for making people feel truly seen and encouraged, and I’m so grateful to have her by my side through all of life’s moments. I’m proud to call her my sister.
Tamara Kheir - Bridesmaid
Tamara and I have been close since high school, and we even went to prom together! She’s always been like an older sister to me, with all the love and support whenever I needed it. She was on the drill team in high school, and so I’m pretty sure I had the coolest high school friend. Even when she went to OU, we always found a way to stay close. On the day I got engaged, she woke me up with music blasting, drove me to the proposal, and reminded me not to forget to say yes. She lights up every room she walks into, and I’m so grateful to have her in my life! Horns up baby! Life with her in it is just a whole lot more fun.
Dr. Sophia Hegazin - Bridesmaid
Sophia and I became close during our high school years through Bible studies at church and a mission trip we went on together. She’s always been someone I can count on to pray with, laugh with, and remind me of God’s faithfulness in every season. Her friendship has truly strengthened my own walk with Christ. Over the years, she’s become more like a sister than a friend. One of my favorite memories of Sophia is when she went skydiving oceanside twice in the same day, and I had the honor of watching her do it. She’s adventurous, full of life, and such a blessing in mine!
Dr. Alex McMillan - Bridesmaid
Alex quickly became one of my closest friends after we met through Emma. Emma definitely knew what she was doing when she introduced us. Alex has inspired me in so many ways. She taught me how to ski for the first time in Park City, and we went canyoneering together in St. George, just a couple of the many adventures we’ve shared. Every time we’re together, I don’t think I’ve ever stopped laughing or had the chance to even sleep! She’s always one call away and never fails to check in and catch up, even with her crazy work schedule. I’m constantly inspired by her dedication and hard work as a general surgery resident!!!
Amanda Haddadin - Bridesmaid
Amanda and I have known each other since high school, and to know Amanda is to know her incredible sense of humor. She can make me laugh until I cry every single time. She’s one of the sweetest and most hard-working people I’ve ever met, with a heart so big it’s impossible not to love her. She wears her heart on her sleeve, always shows up, always listens, and somehow always knows exactly what to say. She’s basically an HR expert. Fun fact: she took me to my first Christmas light drive-thru, and it was just as magical and full of joy as she is!!!
Ann Nemri - Bridesmaid
Ann has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I truly feel blessed to have her as my younger sister. She’s not only incredibly sweet with the biggest heart, but also one of the most hard-working and creative people I know. Ann keeps me in the loop on all the latest trends and never hesitates to give me her honest opinion, especially when it comes to fashion! Having her by my side means the world to me, and her presence always makes me so happy. She’s a fellow foodie, just like me. I can’t wait to celebrate this special day with her and share many more adventures together!
Nick Stramel - Best Man
I met my little brother Nick back in 2000 when my mom brought him into the world, and life’s been better ever since. From muddy days in the yard with our dad to diving for coins at the pool with our grandparents, we always knew how to have fun together. Over the years, we’ve grown up side by side, learning from each other and pushing each other to be better in ways only brothers can. I’ll never forget our early morning drives to work during covid, barely saying a word because we were still waking up, but we both knew those quiet rides would reveal and strengthen the kind of relationship we had. Nick’s been there for me through everything, good, bad, and in between. He’s someone I’ve always been able to count on, one of the hardest working people I’ve ever met, and I couldn’t imagine this day without him standing up there next to me. Hook 'em lil brother!
Mark Rado - Best Man
I met Mark back in 7th grade, and he’s been one of my best friends ever since. Even after he moved to Florida after our freshman year, we somehow became even closer. No matter how much time passes, we always pick up right where we left off. Whether we’re breaking down the latest game or catching up on life, there’s never a dull moment. Mark’s the kind of friend who’s always there, whether it’s for a laugh, advice, or just talking about who's the real UT. And yes, he’s still wrong—my UT is the real one. I’ve always appreciated his loyalty, honesty, and ridiculous takes on sports. I had the honor of representing Mark at his wedding, and now he is returning the favor at mine, I’m honored to have him standing with me on my big day, and I couldn’t imagine it without him.
Dr. Rashed Rihani - Groomsman & Officiant
Rashed is the older brother I never knew I needed, but I’m so grateful to have. He’s not just my brother-in-law, but he’s one of my closest friends, and I’m honored to have him standing by my side. Even more than that, I’m humbled that he’ll be officiating our wedding and uniting us as a couple. Rashed is always cracking jokes and finding the funniest ways to make me laugh, especially during our golf rounds, even when the golf itself isn’t going great. He’s a BBQ fanatic, and I know anytime I cook for him, I’ll get his honest, unfiltered, and hopefully positive feedback. He’s one of the smartest guys I know, and he’s been an inspiration to me, not just in marriage, but as a friend, mentor, and brother.
Fadi Rihani - Groomsman
Fadi is my other favorite brother-in-law, and another friend and little brother God blessed me with when I joined this family. He’s one of the most inquisitive people I’ve ever met, constantly hitting me with random facts I didn’t know I needed. He’s always eager to learn more, and I’m constantly impressed by his sharp mind, work ethic, and competitiveness. Whether we’re watching bushcraft youtube videos, battling over who’s the better athlete, or trying to out-eat each other at the dinner table, we always find a way to turn it into a good time. I love how hard he tries to beat me, it always makes everything more fun. He even walked away as the bachelor party champion for being the most outgoing and engaging guy there. The world is genuinely richer with a guy like Fadi in it.
Nabil Asad - Groomsman
Nabil is my oldest friend, and he’s lived just five minutes down the street from me for as long as I can remember. He’s one of the kindest people I know, one of my best friend, and always the best dressed in any room. Whether it’s late-night poker games, gym sessions, or our casual cinema hangouts over the years, he’s always been the friend I need. He’s always had my best interests in mind and has challenged me to be the best man and friend I can be. A true gentleman and a real basketball connoisseur, Nabil brings a calm confidence to everything he does. Our friendship has only grown stronger with time, and knowing he’s just a short drive away means more than I can say. I’m proud to have him by my side on such an important day.
Rhett Ramos - Groomsman
Rhett is my go-to golf partner and one of my best friends. Funny enough, we started off hating each other, & now we’re basically brothers. He has a way of showing kindness so effortlessly, and it always pushes me to be a better person. There’s never a dull moment between us, whether we're sitting out by the bonfire, testing out his newest putter, or spending more time looking for my golf ball than actually playing. No matter what kind of day he’s had, I can always count on him to show up when it matters most. Rhett brings a steady, positive energy that makes every hangout better. He’s a great man and an even better friend, and I’m lucky to have him by my side on my wedding day.
Patrick Morrow - Groomsman
I met Patrick during my freshman year of college, and he quickly became my college buddy, personal mechanic, lactose-intolerant cheese connoisseur, and my favorite weekend guest. He’s one of the funniest and most interesting people I’ve ever met in the best way possible. A good time always follows Patrick, and I’ll never forget how many times he helped me out that first year, taking me in and showing me the ropes. Even though we’re not in the same city anymore, we always pick up right where we left off. He’s a great man, an even better friend, and unfortunately an Aggie. He’s also, sadly, my better-looking friend, but I try not to hold that against him. But despite that, I can always count on him to sit down, grab a drink, watch the game, and have one of the best nights.
Ansar Malik - Groomsman
Ansar is my favorite Longhorn and someone I’ve looked up to ever since I met him back in high school. The way he carries himself is inspiring, he’s the captain, the steady hand, and one of the most genuine men I know. Whether we’re watching our Texas Longhorns beat whoever they’re playing, making the drive down to Austin, catching the latest Marvel movie on opening night, or just hanging out on the couch, I always know were going to have the best time when he's around. He’s the kind of friend who shows up with loyalty, heart, and no expectations. I’m proud to have him by my side on one of the most important days of my life.
